A. | Almost all of our cold pack products are made from cheese that was fully pasteurized. Only our swiss cheese based products are made from cheese that was heat treated to 148°, but not pasteurized. We age all of those cheeses for at least 60 days and then blend them with other ingredients to create our spreadable cheeses without the aid of heat. |

A. | The spreadable cheese items should be kept refrigerated before opening, and should go back in the refrigerator after each use. Some of our products are shelf-stable, and need to be refrigerated only after opening. These include the nacho sauce, salsa, and dip items. |

A. | The spreadable cheese items can be frozen up to a year. However, freezing can make the texture slightly crumbly after thawing. Also, be aware that the cups may become brittle when frozen, and can crack. |

A. | Under normal conditions, Kaukauna spreadable cheese products will retain freshness for approximately three month after the product is opened. |

A. | Not now. Not ever. The natural flavors of the cheese come through our spreadable cheese because we utilize a unique “cold pack” method of converting naturally aged cheese to our spreadable form. |
